Prevention and Code Enforcement



The North County Fire Protection District's primary mission is to prevent loss of life and property from fire and natural/man-made disasters. And, the Board of Directors have taken essential steps to obtain this goal. One the most important decisions made was in 1995 when the Board adopted Resolution 95-11-3: Negative Declaration for an Ordinance Adopting the California Fire Code (UFC) 2007 Edition.
