In any type of emergency, it is critical to dial 9-1-1 immediately. Monterey County Emergency Communications Dispatch Center handles all types of emergencies (fire, medical, police) and will dispatch the proper authorities to assist you. Time is always of essence, so make this your first priority.



Many civic groups in the neighboring area offer educational classes for both youth and adults in proper first aid techniques. Certification is usually available to those individuals successfully completing their designated courses. Please reference the links on the left for additional information.
